What is TLS
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a third-party component that is widely adopted and designed to facilitate privacy and data security when communicating over the internet. TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 have been formally deprecated by the Internet Engineering Task Force since June 2018 and they are highly recommending usage of TLS 1.2. Therefore, by the end of next summer, Sage will no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1. It will be necessary for customers to upgrade to Sage 100 and Sage CRM version 2020.1 or higher by end of August 2023.
Sage 100 both perpetual and subscription licenses are affected.
If you are using Sage 100 paperless office to deliver attachments via email for PDF documents from Sage – including Purchase orders, Customer invoices or statements, custom documents or payroll notifications to employees. Third party add-ons are also affected we have listed a few below. You will need to contact all 3rd party providers to determine how this impacts you.
