Now in transaction forms, there is an enhancement to the ‘type ahead’ search feature.  This allows you to find item/account names that not only start with the typed characters, but also in the beginning of any word in the item/account name.

This new feature is a positive impact to navigating in and around in QuickBooks. The longer your list is, the slower the search will take. It works with most features in QuickBooks Desktop including report filters and timesheets.  The only feature it does not work with is Bank Feeds.
