Step 1. Always perform 2 backups and make sure they are usable. Step 2. Print reports such as the General Ledger Trial Balance, the Accounts Receivable Aging, Accounts Payable Aging, Inventory Valuation, Payroll YTD earnings and any other summary reports that are important to you. Step 3. Install the upgrade and let it convert your data. It should be error free. Step 4. Print a new set of the reports from step 2 and compare them. If they show the same information, odds are in your favor the upgrade was a success. |
